Sao Tome Quartzites

While granites and exotic quartzites are suffering with competition from artificial stones like silestones, we see continued interest in foliated quartzites such as Sao Tome.

Unlike counterparts from other countries, Sao Tome has a smooth surface and a wider variety of colors while maintaining a competitive price. Sao Tome is primarily known for its resistance, anti-thermal and anti-slip characteristics, which makes it especially suited for landscaping and flooring in external areas.

San Tome quartzite flagstone and tiles in standard dimensions are very popular in countries like Japan and Germany. Sao Tome cultured stone, spacato veneers and mosaic tiles, however, are increasingly in use for wall surfaces, which explains the growing demand for the material.
